Lumaxx is the window with reduced size casement and central mullion, which lets up to 25% more natural light into the room. It has STV technology which includes static bonding of the glass directly onto the casement profile, to guarantee maximum stability.

Aesthetics and performance
Lumaxx is peak expression of light because the casement and the central junction of the system have a more compact size (just 106 mm wide). The slimmer the profile, the greater the space that can be dedicated to the glass area and, as a result, the more light is let into the house. And thanks to STV technology, maximum stability is guaranteed by the fact the glass is directly bonded to the casement profile. On the Lumaxx system, the unique properties of PVC, such as low environmental impact, excellent performance in terms of heat and sound insulation, and great strength are combined with the elegance of a window that leaves plenty of room for the glass and for light to enter from outside. As well as the wood-effect finishes, which faithfully reproduce the warmth and feel of wood on the profiles, Lumaxx windows are available in 8 colours by Acrylcolor, the technology that is a guarantee of lasting quality, with a modern palette in grey and brown.

Technical details
PVC profiles stand out for the number and layout of their different chambers: the higher the number of chambers, the better the heat insulation. Our systems use 5 or 6 chambers with a depth from 74 to 83 mm and with a suitable glazed section, they provide Uw values below 0,84 W/m2K. Glass plays a fundamental role in ensuring a high level of heat and sound insulation. The addition of Argon gas notably improves the heat and sound performance of glass, which means our windows are even better performing and ensure a high level of living comfort. Another basic element in a door or window is its hardware. At Daunia we only use Roto NT products, which act as a barrier against break-ins, can withstand the most extreme climate conditions, and are tested for 30,000 casement opening cycles and 20,000 bottom hung openings, as well as having special "RotoSil Nano” technology surface treatment.
